Gamakache Black was established in 2000. As a child growing up in Guyana watching her grandma sew, she always wanted to create beautiful garments of her own out of her love for black clothes, which to Margaret means glamour. Margaret worked for her own company on and off. In 2007 after the death of her brother Germaine, her passion was sparked yet again to create beautiful garments in his memory.

Gamakache Black is a design company that fulfills all your black clothing needs with different shades of black on textured fabrics. Recently she has been experimenting with a similar concept in all white fabrics. Margaret is always excited to see people wearing her creations and loves the opportunity to show off her work with the hope one day of more people enjoying her garments. Having several shows under her belt she also received an award in 1995 from the SPICE ISLAND KIDS for her accomplishments in fashion.
